These are the some of the photos they took this morning at Jellybean's 12-week ultrasound. The first shows the whole baby, now 66mm long (up from 23mm only three weeks ago)! You can also see the heart rate; 136bpm. We got to hear it beating too, but unfortuanately they didn't give us the audio file.

The second is the obligatory leg shot (count those toes; the nurse swears they're all there).

The third shows that Jellybean is adept at thumb-sucking, something also shown in the video.

The third is a top-down shot, which they do to make sure the brain is developing properly. It is, apparently. The baby is looking slightly upwards, so you can just make out some eyes, and the triangular shap of the jaw.

The fifth shows the whole baby. Not sure, but it looks like s/he is laounging back with his/her arms behind her head. That'll be the old man's influence then!
